در این دوره سعی میگردد هنر جو با تاریخچه ، اصطلاحات و کلیات مخابرات آشنا گردد .
رنگبندی و سیم کشی را بیاموزد و بتواند یک سوییچ کم ظرفیت را در یک محیط آزمایشگاهی نصب نماید .
در طی این دوره هنرجو با یک سیستم کم ظرفیت از سوییچ های شرکت پاناسونیک TES&TEM آشنا میگردد .
میتواند سیستم مذکور را برنامه ریزی نماید و امکاناتی از قبیل دسترسی به خطوط شهری ، روش زنگ خوردن خطوط ، سطح دسترسی و دهها قابلیت اصلی مراکز سوییچ را در آن فعال یا غیر فعال نماید .
