Electrical Engineer in KURDISTAN
Electrical Engineer based on site in KURDISTAN on a 4/4 rotation
Define, follow-up and evaluate the electrical discipline studies to be carried out Verify the deliverable to be produced by the Contractor(s) related to the electrical discipline.
Monitor electrical discipline studies during engineering (technical, costs, planning, interfaces, reporting) Assume responsibility for the quality of the electrical design and control studies that are produced by the Contractor together with deliverable Check that the design is developed in line with the Pre-Engineering and the Statement of Requirements Co-ordinate electrical engineering assistance from Company or from external Specialists as necessary Communications with Company Organization for key reviews on HSE, in technological, in operation and project requirements related matters.
Participate in Technical Reviews/Audits (HAZID, etc.). Verify follow-up and implementation of outcome for electrical related matters.
Clearly identify the possible deviations from Company referential and report of the same to facility manager / engineering team leader for final decision on implementation and initiate the associated deviation request Participate to the technical evaluation of suppliers and equipment purchases.
Contribute and coordinate the engineering interfaces with other disciplines and existing facilities Give technical inputs to the definition of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities Coordinate electrical activities (Scope of work, Engineering, FAT etc.)
Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings Participate in electrical system components (Generators / MCC etc.) Factory Acceptance Tests Provide support/participate to construction and commissioning for activities Ensure detailed progress reporting to facility manager / engineering team leader
Educational and experience requirements:
Must have a Degree
Extensive working experience with the majority experience gained in the oil and gas industry. Fluent in English - skilled in external communication, able to work in a multicultural environment Previous experience of work in Middle East countries onshore is an advantage.

Remuneration: 1 - 1 UK Pounds/year
