The Company

Our client is leading engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) company focused
on executing complex offshore oil and gas projects worldwide. They have operated in multiple countries throughout the world ranging across the Atlantic, Middle East and Asia Pacific.

The Projects

Hook up and Installation of topside assets on oil and gas platforms. ie; The Hook Up of: Jackets, associated bridge, accommodation modules, lifting crane, process modules, pipe racks, power supply, dewatering units, and filtration units.

The Role

Based in the UAE for an Initial 3 months, working in an onshore/office based capacity, producing and drafting procedures and methodology for the hook up of various topside assets on the platform.

Following this you will be working offshore in the Persian Gulf on 2 months on 1 month off rotation. This will be the element of the work whereby you are responsible to ensure the methodology and procedures you put in place onshore are adhered to through the actually hook up execution.

The Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience working for main offshore / subsea contractors 
An experienced hook up supervisor 
Experienced in producing procedures and methodology for the hook up of topside assets on a oil and gas platform 
Qualified in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Instrumentation etc) 
Valid offshore certificates 
Medically fit and security cleared 
Previous experience liaising with various stakeholders involved with the project through execution (sub contractors and client)
Previous experience managing and supervising engineers and technicians through the execution phase of the hookup.
